The objective of this course is to present the facts and possible negative effects of using opioids illegally. Opioids have many negative health issues that everyone should be aware of. However, the biggest safety concern is that they are also a possible segue into more dangerous drugs. Life is too precious to become tangled in the web of drug abuse. There are too many opportunities for growth to stay stuck in decay.
The goal of this course is to not only help you with your opioid abuse problem(s) but also to help you see the big picture of your life. You are not a drug person but rather a person with a drug problem. Often, the answers to your future can be found in your past. What has happened in your life so far, could equal much of your future if you don’t take steps to change. The good and bad done to you (which affects your values and habits) are programmed into your mind and come up over and over again.
A person’s programming heavily influences their thoughts. Without you being aware of it, these thoughts control your attitudes, values, beliefs and the quality and direction of your life. If you were “programmed” into believing lies about yourself like, “I’m no good, I’m only worth minimum wage, I can’t succeed,” then that is what you will become, unless you become “self-aware” and reprogram your subconscious mind.
As an administrator, you'll quickly learn the value and effectiveness of this course. Students will quickly see that this course can bring about powerful change in their lives.
